A restaurant open all day is a big challenge. It has to be versatile and know how to reinvent itself. At Recharge, that's the task, with menus constantly changing, but always maintaining a philosophy that's both international and fusion.
This is the restaurant at the Next hotel, the young and irreverent brand from Savoy Signature. Here, between the music in the hallways and the pop-art decor, the atmosphere is relaxed, and so the restaurant should be too.
Just to give you an example, it's the first restaurant in Portugal with a menu where the main protein is insects, in this case, grasshoppers. But there's much more to try, with a selection that takes into account the lifestyle of millennials and zoomers. There's healthy food, gluten-free and lactose-free options, and vegetarian dishes. But above all, there's flavor and freshness.
But Recharge isn't just for these generations. Nor is it just for hotel guests. It is open to everyone, in addition to providing support to the area and solarium and access to the sea at Next.
Brunch is where it all begins. It's available every day and served until 6:30 p.m. It offers eggs, bowls, and juices, and is a new addition to Madeira, offering a Nepalese breakfast option.
A lunch menu also operates. Here, you'll find lighter dishes and a selection of snacks and salads, as well as a full list of healthy options, such as hummus and quinoa. Fish, with several options, and meat are also included.
Then comes the dinner menu, featuring starters, also healthy cuisine, fish, and meat, but with more elaborate dishes, and a more welcoming yet equally relaxed atmosphere, with background music and informal service.
Children haven't been forgotten. There's a menu for the little ones, presented on a separate sheet with some fun activities.
At Recharge, there's a touch of tropicality, but there's a whole world of gastronomy to experience.
