With the motto “Sense of Belonging and Connection,” the Madeira Classical Orchestra is staging its 2025/26 season, marked by an eclectic program. Among the highlights are the concerts commemorating 50 years of Autonomy, on October 18 and November 22, at 9:00 p.m. In addition to performances by the entire orchestra, there will be several concerts featuring various ensembles that are also part of the OCM.

The Christmas spirit will be celebrated on December 13 and 14, at 6:00 p.m., at the Madeira Congress Center, with the traditional Christmas concerts, conducted by Francisco Loreto and featuring soloists Sofia Escobar and Ana Marta Kaufman. To close the year, on December 28, at 6:00 p.m., the Baltazar Dias Theater will host the New Year's Eve Concert, conducted by Gianluca Marciano and featuring soloist Martina Filjak.

The new year opens on the same stage on January 1 with the New Year's Concert, also conducted by Gianluca Marciano, with Alberto Sousa as soloist. In February, at the Congress Center, the highlight is the Carnival Concert, conducted by Luís Andrade, again with Alberto Sousa.

From March 7 to 28, on weekends, the Madeira Music Festival will take place. In February, the OCM celebrates 62 years of history and keeps its mission alive: to transform society through music. The program will also include the usual Carnival and Flower concerts.
