Savoy Signature is preparing to celebrate Carnival in Madeira with a vibrant programme filled with colour, music and flavours, spread across several of the group’s hotels. Themed dinners, Brazilian-inspired buffets, live shows and entertainment promise to bring one of the most festive times of the year to life.

At Savoy Palace, in the heart of Funchal, the Grand Ballroom hosts, on 13 February, a night dedicated to Brazilian Carnival. The programme begins with a buffet dinner inspired by tropical cuisine and continues with samba, music and dance. The celebration carries on late into the night, with access from 23:30 hours until 03:00 hours for those who wish to join the party after dinner.

Royal Savoy opts for an extended celebration over several days. On 13 February, Carnival Friday is marked by a special four-course dinner featuring exotic flavours in a festive atmosphere. On 17 February, Piano Galley hosts a buffet dedicated to Brazilian gastronomy. Between 12 and 18 February, the Deck serves Carnival-themed lunches, while the bars offer traditional caipirinhas to accompany the festivities.

In Calheta, Saccharum celebrates Carnival on 17 February with a buffet dinner at the Engenho restaurant, accompanied by live music. From 22:00 hours onwards, the party continues at the Fly Lounge Bar with a performance by the Batucada da Madeira group, adding even more rhythm and energy to the evening.

The NEXT hotel combines the Carnival spirit with Valentine’s Day on 14 February, with an aphrodisiac menu inspired by iconic Carnival cities around the world. The experience includes themed décor, a DJ, entertainment with romantic carnival costumes and signature cocktails, designed for couples looking for something different.

At Gardens, the adults-only hotel in the collection, Carnival is celebrated in a relaxed way on 18 February. From 20:30 hours, the Magnólia Lounge hosts a Carnival parade and a mask competition, inviting guests to embrace the festive spirit with creativity and humour.

At Calheta Beach, the celebrations take place by the sea. On 17 February, at 21:00 hours, the Rabaçal bar welcomes Batucada da Madeira for a night marked by percussion and contagious energy. On 20 February, the hotel hosts a dynamic music and dance show, open to both guests and visitors.
