The hotel group Savoy Signature has once again gained international recognition, with the Savoy Palace winning two of the most prestigious European accolades at the World Travel Awards 2025: “Europe’s Leading Luxury Hotel” and “Portugal’s Leading Luxury Hotel”.
The awards were announced on Wednesday evening during the European ceremony of the World Travel Awards, held in Sardinia, Italy. These distinctions further strengthen the position of the Savoy Palace — a member of The Leading Hotels of the World — as a benchmark of luxury and sophistication within both the national and European hospitality sectors.
In addition to these awards, Savoy Signature also sees several of its hotels nominated for the global categories of the World Travel Awards 2025, with voting open until 26 October.
The nominees include:
The Reserve, in the category World’s Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel;
Savoy Palace, in the category World’s Leading Luxury Hotel;
Saccharum, in the categories World’s Leading Island Resort and World’s Leading Retreat.
These nominations and awards reaffirm Savoy Signature’s international recognition and its commitment to luxury hospitality, Madeiran authenticity, and service excellence.
