The Galáxia Skyfood restaurant, at Savoy Palace, is once again hosting the Stars at Galáxia gastronomic series on 20 and 21 February 2026. The initiative brings together chefs recognised and recommended by the Michelin Guide for a six-hands dinner celebrating Portuguese high gastronomy.
Led by resident chef Roberto Barros, the event features Rui Filipe, chef of the Palatial restaurant and holder of one Michelin star, and Filipe Janeiro, chef of Gazebo, recommended by the Michelin Guide 2025. The gathering proposes a dialogue between different backgrounds and visions of national cuisine, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration and sharing that defines the Estrelas no Galáxia concept.
The experience takes the form of a seven-course tasting menu, with each dish reflecting the identity of the participating chefs while maintaining a common narrative at the table. The proposal explores gastronomy as a constantly evolving universe, bringing together product, technique and time in a contemporary reinterpretation of origins.
Conceived as a series of editions throughout the year, Stars at Galáxia brings to Galáxia Skyfood some of the most relevant and emerging names in Portuguese cuisine. The aim is to provide reference fine-dining experiences without leaving the island, positioning Madeira on the national high-gastronomy map.
According to Savoy Signature, hosting this edition seeks to consolidate Savoy Palace’s positioning as a cultural reference in the world of culinary creation, integrating haute cuisine into the luxury hotel experience. With this six-hands dinner, Galáxia Skyfood reinforces its commitment to distinctive experiences, where excellence, national talent and Madeiran hospitality come together in a context of sophistication and authenticity.
