It's a day to recharge your batteries, reconnect and realign yourself. This year, in 2025, the Saccharum Hotel, a Savoy Signature, will hold another edition of Summer Wellness Day on June 21, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The event invites you to relax and commune with the sea and nature, as a way of celebrating the summer solstice.
This holistic journey is open to the general public and has special conditions for hotel guests with the Savoy Premium Experience. This one-day retreat takes place between the Fly Lounge, Horta do Chef and Trapiche, spaces that provide the perfect setting for wellness practices, conscious eating and moments of introspection.
Under the motto “A day to recharge, reconnect & realign”, the Summer Wellness Day begins with an Opening Circle led by Saccharum’s yoga and pilates instructor, Mercedes Pasos. This will be a moment of welcome and preparation, inviting the grounding of the energy of the longest day of the year. Then, at 9:30 am, the Sky Yoga Flow practice, led by Desiree, brings lightness and challenge in an aerial yoga style that promotes strength, flexibility and confidence, through movements suspended in fabrics.
The morning continues with a brunch at 11:30 am, where seasonal and nutritious dishes will be served to replenish energy. Starting at 1:30 pm, participants are invited to embark on a mindful and barefoot walk — a walk that promotes presence and connection with the planet, through this intimate contact with nature.
At 2:00 p.m., there is a dynamic movement session focused on exercises to invigorate and tone the body, guided by Rhys, awakening the energy within. Later, at 3:15 p.m., Mercedes Pasos leads the Revitalization Ritual, which combines facial yoga and self-care practices, providing natural toning and inner well-being.
The day continues at 3:30 p.m. with a Yoga Nidra session, a deep meditative immersion that induces a state of total relaxation and introspection. At 4:30 p.m., the proposal is to give way to creativity, with a single-line mandala drawing workshop, a practice that combines art, focus and personal expression.
