Terreiro Restaurant, located in the gardens of Savoy Palace in Funchal, is hosting a farewell to summer with a special edition of the Terreiro Fire Pit event, scheduled for 18th October. Inspired by the warm spirit of Madeiran traditional ‘arraiais’, this will be an evening of sharing, authentic flavours, and captivating music around the fire pit. The event was initially planned for 11th October.
Throughout the summer, Fire Pit dinners have transformed Terreiro into a space celebrating gastronomy and tradition, bringing together friends and families in an intimate atmosphere. To close this season, Savoy Signature has prepared a special programme featuring five themed gastronomic stations paying tribute to the richness of Madeiran cuisine and the talent of its chefs.
Among the highlights of the evening, Chef Mónica Marcial (Saccharum) will present her “Vegetarian Essence,” an explosion of colour and flavour using fresh produce from the garden. Chef Alejandro Nunes, host of Terreiro, will focus on the grill with “Fire & Meat,” while Chef Sofia Gonçalves (Royal Savoy) will delight the palate with “Inspirations from the Ocean.” Chef Fernando Silva (NEXT) offers a creative take on “Street Food,” and Chef Natacha Pinto (Saccharum) will bring the evening to a sweet close with “The Art of Pastry.” Local tradition will be represented by “Our Special Bolo do Caco,” crafted by Chef Renato Camacho from Savoy Palace.
Pairings will be provided by wines from COPO and Torre do Frade, with Heineken beer as a special guest, adding freshness and a relaxed vibe to the event.
Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ and producer Hélder Russo, who blends soul, jazz, funk, hip-hop, and house/techno, ensuring a lively and unique atmosphere. The programme also includes a performance by the Grumpies and an after-party with DJ Ryan.
To ensure the whole family can enjoy, Terreiro offers the “Fun for All” service, dedicated to children aged 2 to 12, featuring playful activities, cinema, workshops, and meals, allowing parents to enjoy the experience worry-free.
The event is limited to 100 places, priced at €65 per person, including drinks. Children aged 3 to 12 pay 50%.

The party begins at 5:00 pm with a welcome reception and drinks. Live music by the Grumpies will follow from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with dinner accompanied by DJ Hélder Russo. The after-party starts at 10:30 pm, hosted by DJ Ryan.
