Tipografia Restaurant marks Valentine’s Day

Castanheiro Boutique Hotel invites couples to celebrate love with a sophisticated dinner in a romantic setting, featuring live music and a signature gastronomic experience.

On Valentine’s Day, Castanheiro Boutique Hotel opens the doors of the Tipografia Restaurant with a special proposal designed to make the occasion even more memorable. The restaurant’s décor has been carefully curated to create a warm and romantic atmosphere, enhanced by live music that promises to envelop couples in an intimate and elegant setting.

Signed by Chef Maurício Gonçalves, the exclusive four-course dinner begins with an amuse-bouche combining goat’s cheese and fresh curd with beetroot, sour cherry coulis and sorrel, awakening the palate for the gastronomic journey ahead. The starter presents a harmonious pairing of scallop and cuttlefish, enriched by the crunch of bresaola, adding texture and depth to the dish.

The experience continues with a fish course, where sea bass is served with pistachio, corn bread, dill pil pil and smoked risotto, in a composition that highlights aromas and flavours. This is followed by the meat course, featuring pork belly accompanied by hummus, pork jus, raspberry vinegar and broccoli, balancing richness with freshness. Dessert concludes the dinner with a chocolate delight and strawberry velvet, accompanied by Paris apple compote and lime, leaving an elegant and refined final note.
