Quinta dos Abibes, located in the Bairrada region, has winemaking roots dating back to the 18th century, with the current project revitalised in 2003 by Francisco Batel Marques. Situated on the north-western slope of the Buçaco mountain range, it benefits from clay-limestone soils and an Atlantic microclimate, contributing to the production of elegant, high-quality wines, notably from grape varieties such as Baga, Arinto and Chardonnay.
Avista restaurant, part of the PortoBay group and consistently featured in the MICHELIN Guide since 2020, stands out for its privileged location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Funchal. The venue offers a gastronomic approach that blends Mediterranean and Asian influences, with a focus on sharing and memorable dining experiences.
