"Diamond Night" is the iconic Savoy Palace's proposal for the New Year’s Eve celebration. A revéillon filled with activities, extending over the nights of December 30th and 31st.
Under the same theme, the various spaces of the hotel are preparing to welcome 2026 and leave a mark on the Madeiran New Year’s Eve, with a promise of luxury and entertainment. According to a press release from the Savoy Signature group, there will be “stunning stages reflecting the many facets of a diamond – symbols of rarity, eternity, and intensity”.
Thus, the Grand Ballroom, Galáxia Skyfood, and Galáxia Skybar will assume "their own narratives," which include decoration, gastronomy, and entertainment.
The celebration begins on December 30th, with the gala Shine Bright Like a Diamond at the Grand Ballroom. The evening starts with a welcome cocktail, followed by a gala buffet dinner to the sounds of the Glamorous Vendetta Band and the Diamonds Dance Show, performed by the British Scarlett Dolls. The night culminates with a dance floor where DJ Oxy joins the British dancers, keeping the party going into the early hours.
The event starts at 7:30 PM, with supper and an open bar until 1:00 AM. The price is €310 per person until October 31st and €350 per person from November 1st.
On the final night of 2025, the various spaces of the Savoy Palace will be dressed in gala attire to celebrate the diamond. The Grand Ballroom will host the Extravaganza party, featuring a gala dinner, performances by the Glamorous Vendetta Band, and other special acts, culminating in exclusive access to the hotel’s rooftop to view the New Year’s Eve fireworks in Funchal Bay.
This event costs €505 per person until September 30th and €570 per person from October 1st. It begins at 6:30 PM.
At Galáxia Skyfood, the Crystal Clear celebration invites guests to toast among the stars with a luxury dinner, concerts by D’Gems, and a "premium" atmosphere on the VIP deck of the Galáxia Skybar, where the infinite view of the Atlantic provides the perfect backdrop to welcome 2026.
This party costs €1,200 per person, with an additional €250 charge for a table by the window, offering a view of the mountain. It includes a welcome drink, a gala dinner, and an exclusive food and drink area at the Galáxia Skybar, as well as access to the Galáxia Skybar VIP deck to enjoy the fireworks show, along with a culinary offer and entry to the Shining Light New Year’s Eve party at the Galáxia Skybar. All of this also includes supper and an open bar.
At Galáxia Skybar, the Shining Light party offers a 360° view of the fireworks display, with music, supper, and an open bar, extending into the early hours. For those who prefer absolute exclusivity, the VIP area guarantees personalized service and an even more dazzling experience.
This party begins in two phases. For entry from 10:30 PM onwards, the cost is €350 per person, with access to the rooftop at Galáxia Skybar to watch the fireworks, New Year’s Eve party, supper, and an open bar.
For entry after 12:15 AM, the cost is €200 per person, including access to the New Year’s Eve party, supper, and open bar.
Finally, the Terreiro restaurant offers another option for a cosy evening, with a dinner inspired by Portuguese cuisine. The night continues with a party at the Galáxia Skybar to celebrate the arrival of 2026 in an atmosphere combining charm and good vibes.
This dinner begins at 6:30 PM. It costs €470 per person until September 30th and €530 per person from October 1st. It also includes access to the Shining Light party.
On January 1st, the Orchidaceae restaurant will open its doors for a brunch, offering buffet options—including live cooking—and live music. This event runs from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and costs €95 per person.
